Mourinho wants Tottenham to sell Ndombele

Jose Mourinho has lost patience with club record signing Tanguy Ndombele and wants Tottenham to cash in this summer, reports The Daily Mail.

Mourinho has landed top transfer targets Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Matt Doherty already and believes selling Ndombele would seriously top up his transfer kitty.

Tottenham made Ndombele their most expensive signing of all-time in a £52m deal from Lyon 12 months ago but the France international has been a huge disappointment.

Ndombele's time at Tottenham has gone downhill quickly since Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino and the midfielder is reportedly also keen to quit.

Mourinho tried to give Ndombele special attention in order to finally get the best from the 23-year-old but nothing has changed.

Inter and Barcelona have already been heavily linked with a move for Ndombele this summer and Mourinho is finally ready to cash in on the dynamic midfielder.

Ndombele made just 12 league starts in his maiden Premier League campaign for Tottenham, making a further nine appearances from the bench.

The Frenchman started the season with a goal and an assist in his first two appearances but only managed four goal contributions over the course of the Premier League campaign.

Ndombele fared better in the Champions League with two assists in six outings and 4.5 successful dribbles per 90 compared to 3.4 in the Premier League.
