The Uruguay international also revealed his fondness of returning to Ajax, where he started his career in an interview with former Liverpool teammate Jamie Carragher for the Daily Mail.
“I’d prefer to stay here [Barcelona] for many more years,” Suarez said. “I know it doesn’t always turn out that way. But if I had to return to the Premier League, I would only go to Liverpool.
“I wouldn’t go to another team. It wouldn’t be a move for money. I’d also love to play again for Ajax as they allowed me to develop as a player in Europe.”
Suarez currently leads the race to finish as the the top goalscorer in Spain having scored at least one more goal than any other player in La Liga (20).
