The agent of Christian Eriksen has revealed several clubs are interested in signing the Tottenham star this summer.
Eriksen has developed into one of the Premier League’s best playmakers in the last few years and has been heavily linked with moves to Real Madrid and Barcelona.
The Denmark international has two years left to run on his £70,000-a-week contract but could earn significantly more elsewhere.
Barcelona have previously been linked with a move for Eriksen, but it remains to be seen whether they are still interested following the arrival of Philippe Coutinho in January.
Reports from Spain have emerged recently claiming Madrid have earmarked Eriksen as the ideal long-term replacement for Luka Modric, although Tottenham have no intentions of selling.
“The only thing I can say is that concerning the interest of several clubs in Christian is that we prefer not to comment,” Eriksen’s agent, Martin Schoots, told the London Evening Standard.
“Christian wants to focus completely on the World Cup – just as he did before on qualifying for the Champions League with Spurs.
“But becoming a father for the first time very soon, there is even something bigger at the moment he is giving his attention to.”
News that Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is being targeted by Madrid could also impact Eriksen’s future at the club.
In the last three Premier League campaigns, only Kevin De Bruyne (43) has provided more assists than Eriksen (38).
