Paris Saint-Germain enter race for Championship wonderkid

Manchester United and Tottenham will face competition from Paris Saint-Germain for Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon, reports The Daily Mirror.

Sessegnon is widely regarded as one of the brightest English prospects in football and has been heavily linked with a big money move this summer.

Fulham are determined to keep hold of the 17-year-old but their chances of doing so will diminish if they fail to secure promotion to the Premier League.

The Cottagers missed out on automatic promotion and will now have to secure top-flight football via the play-offs this month.

United and Tottenham are in the market for a new left-sided player but now European giants PSG are in the race for the teenager’s signature.

The Ligue 1 champions are keen to sell both of their current left-back options and start from scratch in that position, with Sessegnon at the top of their wish list.

Sessegnon has enjoyed a sublime season for Fulham, chipping in with 15 goals and six assists for Slavisa Jokanovic’s side.
