Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has emerged as a shock transfer target for Manchester United this summer, reports The Sun.
New United manager Jose Mourinho will make a move for the Wales international if the Red Devils fail to land Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Mourinho and Arsene Wenger do not have a happy history and the news that the Portuguese manager is interested in one of his players will not go down well with the Arsenal boss.
However, Ramsey, who is currently on duty with Wales at Euro 2016, could be open to a move if he is forced to play on the right again next season.
The arrival of Granit Xhaka and the return to fitness of Jack Wilshere is likely to see Ramsey’s chances of playing in central midfield even slimmer next season and the Welshman, who joined Arsenal over United when he left Cardiff in 2008, has previously hinted at a desire to play back in his favoured position.
Only four players have been dribbled past more times than any other player in the Premier League since August 2012 (180).
