Mohamed Salah says his future is in Liverpool's hands but he wants to stay at the club for as long as possible.
The 28-year-old has been regularly linked with a move away from Liverpool amid suggestions his relationship with head coach Jurgen Klopp has gradually strained over time.
Salah has more than two years left to run on his current Liverpool deal and is approaching the time when a decision will need to be made on his future.
Despite claims Salah could leave to help fund new signings, the Egypt international has dropped his strongest hint yet he wants to renew with the Premier League champions.
"I do not know. If you ask, I say I want to stay here as long as I can, but, as I have said before, it is in the hands of the club," Salah told Norwegian channel TV2, via Sky Sports.
"I will always give 100 per cent to the last minute I am in this club and I want to win as many trophies as I can.
"And I want to give 100 per cent to the people, who show me love all the time."
Salah has been one of the Premier League's best players since signing for Liverpool from Roma in 2017 for £34m.
Liverpool were ridiculed for their decision to sign Salah following his poor spell at Chelsea but the forward has helped transform the Reds into one of Europe's best sides.
Salah remarkably played a direct hand in 42 goals in 36 Premier League appearances in his first season at the club and is currently the division's top scorer this term with 13 goals.
