Manchester United defender Phil Jones has suffered yet another injury setback in his return to first team football after having a leg brace fitted, reports The Sun.
Jones, 24 suffered knee ligament damage in training a fortnight ago after closing in on a return after a lengthy absence.
It was thought the versatile defender would only be sidelined for a month but the injury is now worse than expected after a brace was fitted to stabilise the joint.
Jones hasn’t featured competitively for United since January and his time at Old Trafford only looks to be coming to an end with every new injury.
