Tottenham and Atletico Madrid set to battle for Chelsea midfielder
Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher is the subject of interest from Tottenham and Atletico Madrid, reports Sky Sports.
Spanish giants Atleti remain in talks with Chelsea over the signing of Gallagher, after seeing a £30 million offer rejected earlier this summer.
It is believed that a ‘sizeable’ gap in valuation still exists between the clubs, as Chelsea hold out for a fee in the region of £40 million.
Chelsea’s London rivals Tottenham are also expected to make an offer for the England international.
Spurs are long-term admirers of Gallagher, and tried to sign him last summer, too.

But with just a year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea are more inclined to part ways with the midfielder this time around.
