Juventus have made prising Pep Guardiola from Manchester City their number one priority this summer, reports The Sun.
The Old Lady only appointed Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri last summer but have long been linked with a move for Guardiola.
Juventus are currently second in Serie A and in danger of missing out on their first league title since the 2010/11 campaign.
Sarri has struggled to get Juventus playing Sarri-ball this season and there have even been suggestions Max Allegri could return before the end of the campaign.
However, it has now emerged Juventus are plotting a sensational swoop for Guardiola and are willing to give him as much money as he wants to spend on new players.
Guardiola is currently into his fourth season as City head coach but it has been a bitterly disappointing season for last season's Premier League champions.
After winning back-to-back league titles, City are already 22 points behind Liverpool and questions are being asked of Guardiola's future beyond this season.
City still have the Carabao Cup final and remain in the Champions League and FA Cup but Guardiola admits his time at the Etihad will be judged on whether he delivers a European trophy.
A move to Juventus would see Guardiola become the first manager to have coached both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo at one point in their career.
A points per game return of 2.34 during his time at City is actually the lowest of his managerial return, albeit still remarkably high. He has a win ratio of 74.2% as City head coach.
