Tottenham are reported to have bid £7m for Lyon striker Clinton N'Jie, though the offer is expected to be rejected by the Ligue 1 side.
The 21-year-old has emerged as one of the best young striking talents on the continent and impressed last season, netting 7 goals and registering a further 7 assists in France's top tier last term.
His performances have attracted the interest of Spurs, who are keen to strengthen their frontline this summer with Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor expected to be shown the exit door.
However, it's believed Spurs must up their offer for N'Jie if they are to land the attacker.
