Tottenham ace named WhoScored Premier League player of the month

WhoScored.com can reveal that Tottenham forward Heung-Min Son is the Premier League player of the month for September, according to WhoScored ratings.

Son, 24, didn’t appear to have a future at Tottenham over the summer after struggling to make an impact during his debut season at White Hart Lane.

However, the former Bayer Leverkusen forward rejected the chance to return to Germany and instead worked hard on forcing his way into Mauricio Pochettino’s plans, which he has now done.

September was a sensational month for Son, where the South Korea international scored four league goals and registered one assist in three league games to finish as the highest rated player in England’s top-tier (8.10 rating).
