Liverpool consider audacious move for Arsenal youngster
Liverpool are plotting an audacious move for Arsenal left-back Bukayo Saka, reports Football Insider.
Arsenal are desperate to tie Saka down to a new deal at the Emirates with the teenager's current contract expiring next year.
Indeed, the Gunners are reported to have tabled a five-year offer for the 18-year-old, who is now ahead of Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney in the pecking order for Mikel Arteta's side.
Talks have been on hold due to the Coronavirus pandemic with Premier League football currently suspended due to the present lockdown.
However, Saka's excellent performances from left-back has attracted interest from the Premier League leaders.
Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with a move for Saka as the England hopeful shines in north London.
Saka's versatility is an added bonus for Jurgen Klopp, who is looking to bring in a new forward player this summer, while the player would offer competition for Andy Robertson for a spot at left-back.
Saka has five assists to his name in the Europa League this season, that more than any other player in the competition.
