Alexander Isak will face a late fitness test, but the good news is that Anthony Gordon returned to action in midweek and is set to start. Jacob Murphy, Callum Wilson, Kieran Trippier, Jamaal Lascelles and Sven Botman miss out.
Gabriel misses out having come off in the 2-2 draw with Liverpool, with Jakub Kiwior set to partner William Saliba at the back. Ben White will also be assessed, but Riccardo Calafiori, Martin Odegaard and Kieran Tierney are absent.
Newcastle vs Arsenal Predicted Lineups
Newcastle XI (4-3-3): Pope; Livramento, Schar, Burn, Hall; Tonali, Guimaraes, Joelinton; Gordon, Isak, Barnes
Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Raya; White, Saliba, Kiwior, Timber; Partey, Merino, Rice; Saka, Havertz, Martinelli
Newcastle vs Arsenal Score Prediction
Newcastle have won only two of their last seven, both of which came in the EFL Cup. A five-game winless run in the league is unlikely to end when Arsenal make the trip to St. James’ Park and we’re backing the Gunners to secure a 2-1 win in Saturday’s lunchtime kick off.
