Tottenham man courted by Real Madrid

Tottenham star Dele Alli is the subject of close interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid, reports Marca.

Alli was named the WhoScored man of the match in Spurs’ midweek 3-1 win over the European champions after bagging a brace in the victory.

Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for Harry Kane in recent weeks and it seems Alli has joined his compatriot at the forefront of Los Blancos’ thoughts.

Spurs are keen to tie the England international down to a new deal before next summer’s World Cup, yet Real Madrid may look to firm up their interest in the youngster before then.

Tottenham, though, are looking to rebuff any attempts to sign their prized assets, with it rumoured that only a world record bid for Kane or Alli would convince them to cash in.

That would mean Real Madrid have to bid upwards of £200m for Spurs to entertain any offers, though dealing with chairman Daniel Levy is a huge obstacle that would be needed to overcome.

Alli’s form has picked up in recent weeks, with the 21-year-old netted four goals in his last four Spurs appearances.
