Everton have rejected a shock £20m bid from Paris Saint-Germain for full-back Seamus Coleman, according to TalkSPORT.
Coleman, 24, has developed into one of the most revered attacking right-backs in the Premier League over the last two seasons and had courted extensive interest from Manchester United until he penned a new five-year deal last summer.
However, it now appears the Merseyside outfit have uphill battle to keep another of their defenders with John Stones heavily linked with a move to Chelsea.
According to TalkSPORT, PSG are prepared to offer Everton a player-plus-cash deal worth £20m for the Ireland international.
The Ligue 1 champions are reportedly looking to bolster their defensive ranks before the transfer window shuts next week, but may have to look at alternative options with Everton enforcing a stance that has been consistent all summer.
In the last three Premier League campaign, Coleman has blocked at least 13 more crosses than any other player (73). Additionally, no defender has scored more goals than the Irishman (9) and only 11 players have successfully completed more dribbles than the Everton full-back in that time (119).
