United and Bayern to battle for Serie A defender

 

Manchester United and Bayern Munich are set to lock horns for Inter defender Jeison Murillo this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, via Football Italia.

 

Murillo, 23, has enjoyed an impressive debut campaign for Inter since joining from Granada at the start of the season.

 

The Colombia international’s performances have reportedly caught the eye of incoming Bayern manager Carlo Ancelotti, while the Italian newspaper also claims United will enter the race with Jose Mourinho is made Louis van Gaal’s successor in the summer.

 

Any potential suitors will reportedly have to cough up in the region of €25m (£20m) and Inter have already lined up PSV defender Jeffrey Bruma as a potential replacement among others.
