Real Sociedad have confirmed they have signed Everton striker Sandro Ramirez on a season-long loan deal.
Sandro only joined Everton 12 months ago but the Spanish striker has struggled to make any impact at Goodison Park.
Marco Silva surprisingly selected Sandro to start in their midweek EFL Cup victory over Rotherham and had hoped the 23-year-old would stay.
However, the former Malaga striker personally pushed for a return to Spain and will now compete for places at Sociedad.
Sandro scored 14 league goals for Malaga prior to joining Everton, who fended off competition from Atletico Madrid for his signature.
After making eight league appearances for Everton during the first half of last season, Sandro was farmed out to Sevilla for the last six months of the campaign but failed to score in 13 league games.
