West Ham Transfer News: Jean-Clair Todibo set for €40m Hammers switch
West Ham are closing in on the signing of Nice centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Frenchman was linked with a Premier League at the turn of the year, with Manchester United and Tottenham monitoring the defender. However, a deal taking Todibo to England failed to materialise.
Juventus had been set to sign to 24-year-old this summer yet have been unable to come to an agreement with Nice over a deal for the former Barcelona man.
That's allowed West Ham to hijack the deal for Todibo with the France international set for a €40m move to the London Stadium.
West Ham have been incredibly active in the transfer market following the appointment of Julen Lopetegui back in May.
Max Milman, Crysencio Summerville, Niclas Fullkrug and Guido Rodriguez have all moved to West Ham this summer.
The Hammers are still looking to sign a new right-back before the transfer window closes this month, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka among those linked with a move to the east London side.
