Manchester City fan favourite expecting to be sold in the summer
Joe Hart believes he has already played his last game for Manchester City and will be sold permanently in the summer, reports ESPN.
The 29-year-old joined Italian side Torino on a season-long loan deal at the start of the season after failing to convince Pep Guardiola he had the ability to implement the Spaniard’s philosophy.
City secured the services of Claudio Bravo at the start of the season but the former Barcelona goalkeeper has struggled to adapt to the Premier League and has made a string of errors since joining.
Guardiola has been widely criticised for his handling of the goalkeeper situation and many feel Hart should still be their No.1 goalkeeper, but the England international, who has impressed at Torino, is expecting to be sold when his loan deal finishes at the end of the season.
Torino have already confirmed they’d like to keep Hart beyond the end of the current campaign but admit they may be priced out by his wages and potential transfer fee.
Hart has kept five clean sheets in 18 league appearances for Torino this season, while a save success rate of 68.2% is much better than Bravo’s measly 55.4%.
