Luke Shaw will turn down the chance to leave Manchester United and join Turkish giants Fenerbahce in January in order to fight for his Old Trafford future, reports The Daily Mail.
The 22-year-old appears to have no future at United after falling out with manager Jose Mourinho on a number of occasions over the past 12 months and there have even been suggestions he will be free to leave in the New Year if the right offer comes in.
Mourinho has reportedly been told he will need to sell before he can buy in January and Shaw is at the top of the list of fringe players that will be allowed to leave, although the England left-back has other ideas.
Despite the fact Fenerbahce have expressed an interest in the defender, Shaw has no intentions to move to Turkey and is determined to fulfil his potential at United.
Shaw has been limited to just 48 minutes of football in the League Cup this season and is currently well down the pecking order at left-back under Mourinho, with 32-year-old Ashley Young preferred.
