Ozil only interested in leaving Arsenal for three teams
Mesut Ozil is only interested in leaving Arsenal at the end of the season for three teams and Manchester United are one of them, reports Manchester Evening News.
The Germany international is out of contract at the end of the current campaign and Arsenal are slowly accepting that Ozil’s future is away from the Emirates.
United manager Jose Mourinho is keen on the idea on the reuniting with Ozil at Old Trafford in the summer and the 28-year-old has earmarked the Red Devils as one of three clubs he would be willing to join.
A return to Real Madrid would also appeal to Ozil, while he would also sit down for talks with Barcelona if Ernesto Valverde’s side were interested in securing his services.
Inter have reportedly expressed an interest in signing the German midfielder, but he has no interest in moving to Italy or returning home to the Bundesliga.
After making an underwhelming start to the season, Ozil came to life in Arsenal’s 5-2 win over Everton on Sunday, scoring his first goal and registering his first assist of the season.
Since joining Arsenal from Madrid in 2013, Ozil has provided at least three more assists than any other Premier League player (43).
