Yahoo Fantasy Football XI: Sanchez finally shines for Manchester United

Goalkeeper – KASPER SCHMEICHEL (LEICESTER – 17.5 points)

Kasper Schmeichel kept his eighth clean sheet of the Premier League campaign after Leicester secured a 2-0 win away to Brighton on Saturday.

The 31-year-old made three saves against the Seagulls and kept out Glenn Murray’s 76th-minute penalty when the score was still goalless.

Schmeichel’s penalty save was just his fourth in 14 attempts in his Premier League career and helped ensure Leicester keep pace with Burnley in the race for seventh place.

Defender – CALUM CHAMBERS (ARSENAL – 13.1 points)

Calum Chambers was given the chance to make just his sixth Premier League start of the season after Arsene Wenger opted to rest Laurent Koscielny for Thursday’s Europa League match against CSKA Moscow.

The 23-year-old formed part of Arsenal’s back four that kept their second consecutive clean sheet at home in the Premier League after dispatching Stoke 3-0 on Sunday.

Chambers made two tackles and four interceptions against the Potters and even chanced his arm with three shots on Stoke’s goal.

Defender – SHKODRAN MUSTAFI (ARSENAL – 12.8 points)

Chambers is joined in the top-scoring Yahoo! Fantasy Football XI by his defensive team-mate, Shkodran Mustafi.

The Germany international, who is a Yahoo! Top-20 form player, features in the WhoScored Premier League Team of the Season with a rating of 7.47.

Mustafi made three tackles, three clearances and three interceptions against Stoke, while also winning four aerial duels.

Defender – KIKO FEMENIA (WATFORD – 13.7 points)

Kiko Femenia is enjoying a new lease of life under Watford head coach Javi Gracia, who has moved the right-back further forward since taking over from Marco Silva at the start of the year.

Gracia was finally rewarded for his tactical switch after Femenia netted his first ever Premier League goal in Watford’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth at the weekend.

The Spanish defender opened the scoring for the Hornets in the 13th-minute on his way to recording 13.7 points on Yahoo! Fantasy Football.

Midfielder – DELE ALLI (TOTTENHAM – 25.3 points)

Dele Alli’s form has been questioned in recent months but the Tottenham ace responded in the perfect fashion after playing an integral part in their 3-1 win over Chelsea on Sunday.

It was the first time in 28 years that Tottenham recorded an away league win over Chelsea and Alli was indispensible in the victory, netting twice for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

In fact, Alli scored two goals in a league match for the first time since repeating the feat against Chelsea in January 2017.

The Tottenham ace earned 25.3 points on Yahoo! Fantasy Football as a result of his fine form against the defending Premier League champions.

Midfielder – VICENTE IBORRA (LEICESTER - 17.5 points)

Schmeichel is joined in the top-scoring Yahoo! Fantasy Football XI for gameweek 32 by Leicester team-mate Vicente Iborra.

The former Sevilla midfielder scored his third league goal of the season in Leicester’s 2-0 win away to Brighton and also earned a spot in the WhoScored Team of the Week.

Iborra has now scored in successive league appearances for the first time since March 2017 and has made a positive impression for the Foxes in his first season at the club.

Midfielder – LUKA MILIVOJEVIC (CRYSTAL PALACE – 16.7 points)

If you want to sign someone that can take penalties for your team then look no further than Crystal Palace’s Luka Milivojevic.

The 26-year-old netted his ninth league goal of the season in Palace’s 2-1 defeat to Liverpool on Saturday and his seventh from the penalty spot.

In fact, only Serie A duo Ciro Immobile and Fabio Quagliarella have scored as many penalties as Milivojevic in Europe’s top five leagues this season.

Midfielder – CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN (TOTTENHAM – 16.8 points)

Christian Eriksen netted his eighth league goal of the season in Tottenham’s historic win over Chelsea, drawing Pochettino’s side level with a long range effort in 46th-minute.

In fact, only Philippe Coutinho (18) has scored more Premier League goals from outside the box than Eriksen (16) since August 2013.

Eriksen had three shots against Chelsea, created two goalscoring opportunities and completed one dribble.

Utility – PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG (STOKE – 25.4 points)

While many question whether Arsenal can hack it on a cold Tuesday night in Stoke, the same question needs to be asked of the Potters whether they can handle it at the Emirates.

Arsenal have now won their last 10 home matches against Stoke at an aggregate scoreline of 25-4 after their 3-0 win on Sunday.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was on the scoresheet for the Gunners, meaning their January signing has now played a direct hand in five goals in his last three appearances for Arsene Wenger’s side.

Forward – ALEXIS SANCHEZ (MANCHESTER UNITED – 21 points)

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will hope Alexis Sanchez has reached the turning point in his Old Trafford career after Saturday’s performance against Swansea.

Sanchez has underwhelmed since joining from Arsenal in January but scored and assisted both goals in a comfortable 2-0 win at the weekend.

United travel to rivals Manchester City next weekend and Mourinho will hope Sanchez can turn into another good performance to at least delay when City can get their hands on the title.

Forward – MARKO ARNAUTOVIC (WEST HAM – 29.3 points)

Mark Arnautovic would have really enjoyed West Ham’s 3-0 win over Southampton, not least because he scored twice but mainly because it heaped more misery on former boss Mark Hughes.

The pair did not end on good terms when Arnautovic left Stoke to join West Ham in the summer and it was another statement performance from the Austrian in front of Hughes.

Arnautovic finished gameweek 32 as the highest scoring player in Yahoo! Fantasy Football (29.3 points) and now has nine league goals in his first season as a Hammer.
