Gavin Bazunu

Ireland international goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu remains sidelined for the Saints, after sustaining an Achilles injury back in April.

The former Manchester City man has since undergone a successful operation, and will be targeting a return to fitness early in 2025.

Kamaldeen Sulemana

Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana was minutes from making a loan switch to Dutch giants Ajax last week, but complications with the paperwork for that deal mean he now looks set to stay at Southampton at least until January.

The ex-Rennes attacker picked up an ankle injury in pre-season, but should now be fit to return to the matchday squad on Saturday.

Ross Stewart

Injuries have plagued Ross Stewart’s time at Southampton since his move from Sunderland last summer, with the 28-year-old so far making only four appearances for the Saints, totalling just 42 minutes of playing time.

After playing no part in pre-season, the Scotsman has now returned to full training and could make a long-awaited return to action on Saturday.
