Fresh off his return from tipping at the World Cup, we’ve recruited ‘The Mailman’ to help you out with some of the big calls. Here are his thoughts…

My Pick

Arsenal (vs West Ham)

It may be a big 'if' considering the time elapsed and the players involved in the World Cup, but if form is to continue for teams from before the break, this may prove a mismatch.

West Ham are third from bottom of the five-game form table, averaging 0.60 points per/90, and scoring just three goals in five matches.

The Gunners? They're on a different trajectory (2.60 points per/90) - second only to a Newcastle team with five wins out of five.

Potential Pick

Chelsea (vs Bournemouth)

The Blues don't have a win to their name in five matches.

It's the sort of run that the Chelsea hierarchy has been quick to react to in recent times, but that has changed... we think.

After utilising the period over the last month, Graham Potter should have conjured a plan to overcome a Cherries side averaging 2.00 goals conceded per/90 across their previous five outings.

Besides that, Bournemouth have leaked 24 in seven away from home this season, an unwanted league-high.

Risky Pick

Man Utd (vs Nottingham Forest)

On the face of it, Nottingham Forest at home for any of the bigger clubs should be a walk in the park.

Yet, 13 United players, the second-most in the Premier League, featured at the World Cup, making Carrington a much quieter place in recent weeks.

If Steve Cooper has taken advantage of the unusual winter break, don't be surprised to see a Forest side present as compact and impressively well-organised at Old Trafford
