Petr Cech – 13 Points Earned
Arsenal returned to winning ways after a two-match losing win with a comfortable 3-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday. Petr Cech was rarely tested over the 90 minutes, but remained composed when called upon to make two saves and even managed a successful dribble to earn 13 points this week.
Joe Hart – 13 Points Earned
Remaining in the capital, and this time at the London Stadium as Joe Hart was on hand to earn his first clean sheet in a league match since the 8th of January, when Torino drew 0-0 with Sassuolo 22 matches ago. The England international earned 13 points with Yahoo! Fantasy Football having kept the Huddersfield attack quiet where needed, making two saves in West Ham’s 2-0 win over the Terriers.
DEFENDERS
Jamaal Lascelles – 16.30 Points Earned
Newcastle captain Jamaal Lascelles led by example against Swansea at the weekend, with the 23-year-old a stand out performer for Rafa Benitez’s side. The youngster picked up 16.30 points with Yahoo! having played a vital role in the Magpies’ victory. His goal proved to be the difference as Newcastle made it back-to-back Premier League wins.
Ben Davies – 14.45 Points Earned
Tottenham returned to winning ways on Saturday with a comprehensive 3-0 win at Everton. Ben Davies has seen his form improve with each passing week and this season he’s been arguably the club’s most consistent performer. The Welshman grabbed an assist at Goodison Park to contribute to an all-round solid showing, earning a place in WhoScored.com’s Premier League team of the week as a result.
Daryl Janmmat – 13.25 Points Earned
Daryl Janmaat may have played just 28 minutes for Watford against Southampton at the weekend, but did enough to earn 13.25 Yahoo! Fantasy Football points, that in turn the third highest of defenders. The Dutchman netted minutes after his introduction and made one tackle to prove why he warrants a regular first team spot for Marco Silva’s side.
MIDFIELDERS
Pascal Groß – 28.60 Points Earned
Brighton earned their first Premier League win in their history at West Brom’s expense at the weekend, with creative star Pascal Groß at the heart of every attacking move in Saturday’s 3-0 victory. The German summer arrival scored two and assisted one to earn 28.60 Yahoo! Fantasy Football points, more than any other player in gameweek 4.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting – 25.85 Points Earned
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored only three league goals for Schalke last season. In four Premier League appearances, the Cameroonian attacker has two goals to his name, both of which came against Manchester United on Saturday. His goalscoring exploits saw him pick up 25.85 points this week in what was the 28-year-old’s best performance since his move to Stoke.
Leroy Sane – 21.20 Points Earned
Like Janmaat, Leroy Sane started his game from the bench, but was an effective attacking outlet during his short time on the pitch. The German youngster netted Manchester City’s fourth and fifth goals in their 5-0 win over Liverpool on Saturday to earn 21.20 points, despite coming on in the latter stages of the match.
FORWARDS
Danny Welbeck – 26.30 Points Earned
Danny Welbeck has netted more goals in four league appearances this season (3) than he managed in 16 top-flight outings last term (2), two of which came against Bournemouth on Saturday. He could easily have had a hat-trick, though his performance was enough to earn more points (26.30) than any other forward in gameweek 4.
Gabriel Jesus – 24.25 Points Earned
Sergio Aguero may have gotten the ball rolling in City’s 5-0 win over Liverpool, but it was Gabriel Jesus who stole the plaudits at the Etihad Stadium. The Brazilian netted a brace in the resounding victory to help gain 24.25 Yahoo! Fantasy Football points.
Harry Kane – 24.15 Points Earned
You know when August is over as Harry Kane gets back among the goals. Having failed to again score in the opening three games of the Premier League season, Kane bagged a brace at Everton to get up and running for the campaign, earning 24.15 points with Yahoo! Fantasy Football.
