What time does the Premier League Transfer Window shut?
After months of rumours and moves, we're finally at transfer deadline day. There have been a number of high profile transfers in the Premier League. Arsenal have brought in Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino, Manchester United signed Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui and Joshua Zirkzee, while Chelsea have done what Chelsea do and just sign... as many players as possible.
However, there are still deals to be done between now and the transfer deadline. Indeed, Chelsea are looking to sign a striker, with Victor Osimhen their top target following Romelu Lukaku's move to Napoli. Arsenal are rumoured to be eyeing up an attacker, United are set to sign Manuel Ugarte from PSG and Liverpool could yet land another midfielder.
There are plenty of twists and turns yet on transfer deadline day as teams look to sneak through one final deal to complete their respective squads.
What time does the transfer window close?
The transfer window will close at 23:00 (GMT) on Friday 30th August.
Can teams still complete deals after the deadline?
Teams can announce completed transfer deals after the deadline provided they have submitted the Premier League deal sheet. This can be sent across between 21:00 and 23:00 and needs to be submitted fully completed. This grants teams an additional two hours for the relevant completed paperwork to be sent to the Premier League for a transfer to be ratified.
The Premier League deal sheet does only apply to transfers between Premier League teams, however.
