Southampton have confirmed Graziano Pelle has completed his move to Chinese side Shandong Luneng for an undisclosed fee.
Pelle, 30, had entered the final 12 months of his existing deal with Southampton and has been keen to leave the club since the turn of the year.
The Italy international was thought to have preferred a move to one of the top clubs in Serie A but has instead accepted terms on a lucrative move to China that will reportedly see him earn more than £250,000-a-week over two-and-a-half-years.
Only two players have scored more headed goals in the last two Premier League campaigns than Pelle (7).
