New Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer is looking to raid former club Ajax for right-back Kenny Tete, reports The Daily Telegraph.
The Eagles ended their extensive month-long search for a new manager earlier this week by appointing former Ajax manager De Boer and the 47-year-old has made it clear he wants to bring Total Football to Selhurst Park.
De Boer gave Tete his first-team debut at Ajax back in February 2015 and now wants to reunite with the 21-year-old at Palace for a cut-price deal.
The Netherlands international has entered the final 12 months of his current deal at Ajax and recently saw a proposed £2.7m deal to Galatasaray collapse, which should give Palace huge encouragement in their pursuit of the defender.
Tete fell out of favour under Peter Bosz last season and made as many starts in the Europa League as he did in the league (5).
