Everton monitoring in-demand Serie A centre-back
Atalanta centre-back Gianluca Mancini is attracting plenty of interest after an impressive first half of the season, with The Mirror claiming that Everton are keeping tabs on his progress.
The 22-year-old has been linked to Serie A giants Inter and Roma in recent times but the Toffees are thought to be one of a number of clubs from outside of Italy monitoring the young defender.
Marco Silva is still believed to be in the market for a centre-back despite the summer arrivals of Kurt Zouma and Yerry Mina, though any move for Mancini would not be made until the summer.
The Italy youth international was a bit part player for Atalanta last season but has seen more regular action this time around following the departure of Mattia Caldara.
Mancini has made 14 league appearances this season, catching the eye due to his threat from set pieces as well as his ability to keep opponents at bay at the other end.
