Liverpool are monitoring Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, reports ESPN.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, 22, is currently sidelined for over a month with knee ligament damage and there have been mixed reports whether Arsenal want to extend his stay or cash in on the versatile midfielder in the summer.
The England international, who has struggled for form and fitness this season, will enter the final two years of his contract in the summer and has been linked with a move to Manchester City, Chelsea and West Ham already in recent weeks.
Wholesale changes are expected at Anfield in the summer as Jurgen Klopp looks to build a squad around his style, and Oxlade-Chamberlain’s energy would certainly fit in with Klopp’s high intensity game.
Of players to have made at least 15 appearances since the start of last season, none have required fewer minutes per successful dribble than Oxlade-Chamberlain (20.3mins).
