Barcelona willing to cut losses on big money summer arrival

Barcelona are prepared to cash in on Antoine Griezmann this summer and have set his asking price at €100m, reports Sport.

Griezmann secured his long-awaited, high profile move to Barcelona from Atletico Madrid last year, but has struggled to find his best form for the Blaugrana.

Indeed, the 29-year-old has had a direct hand in just 12 league goals, scoring eight, in his 26 LaLiga appearances on the back of his €120m arrival at Camp Nou.

The defending LaLiga champions are now willing to cut their losses on Griezmann and sell on for a fee that would see them lose money after an underwhelming debut campaign in Barcelona.

If he does become available, then a host of Europe's top sides would likely show an interest in Griezmann, who netted 15 league goals in his final campaign with Atletico.

Griezmann isn't the only wantaway Barcelona attacker on the market at present, with Coutinho another who is likely to be available for transfer in the summer.

The Brazilian moved to Spain in January 2018 for £142m, but has failed to hit the heights expected of him on the back of his arrival from Liverpool.

Coutinho is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, who have turned down the option to make the move permanent, and his availability would appeal to a host of Premier League sides.
