Watford manager Javi Gracia has agreed a contract extension with the club until 2021, claims The Times.
Gracia’s previous deal was due to expire at the end of the season but Watford have moved to secure his long-term future.
Watford have appointed 10 managers since Gino Pozzo bought the club in 2012 and Gracia becomes the first to earn a contract extension in seven years.
Gracia was appointed Watford manager at the start of the year and helped steer the club away from relegation at the end of last season.
The Hornets have been one of the surprise packages of the Premier League this season and Watford have placed their faith in the Spaniard for the next three years.
Watford are currently eighth in the Premier League and one point below Manchester United, having pulled off an impressive victory over Tottenham earlier in the season.
Garcia has a win ratio of 39.3% from his 28 matches in charge of Watford.
