Manchester City eye shock move for LaLiga goalkeeper
Manchester City are interested in signing Eibar veteran Asier Riesgo this summer, claims The Sun.
Pep Guardiola wants to sign a new goalkeeper in order to allow Aro Muric to go back out on loan.
City had to terminate Muric’s loan stint at NAC Breda at the beginning of last season after Claudio Bravo was ruled out for the season in August.
Bravo is expected to be fit for the start of next season but Guardiola wants a third option to provide as back-up to Ederson and has earmarked Riesgo as a potential target.
Riesgo is out of contract with Eibar this summer and previously worked with City’s goalkeeping coach Xavier Mancisidor at Real Sociedad.
