Chelsea star puts Real Madrid and Barcelona on red alert

Chelsea winger Willian has revealed he ‘dreams’ of playing for Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Willian is expected to be named as a substitute on Tuesday when Chelsea welcome Barcelona for the first leg of their last 16 clash in the Champions League.

The Brazil international has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United since Jose Mourinho was appointed manager in 2016 but it appears he has other plans if he leaves the west London outfit.

“I think they are the two biggest clubs in the world, Real Madrid and Barcelona. They are the clubs with the most visibility,” Willian said in a Q&A with YouTube channel Resenha Delas.

“It’s everyone’s dream to play for these clubs. Of course there are other great ones, like the one I play for, Chelsea, and PSG, other greats.

“But these two are different. These are two that everyone has the dream to play for.”

Willian has endured a frustrating time since Antonio Conte became Chelsea manager 18 months ago, failing to nail down a regular starting berth.

The 29-year-old has only started 28 of a possible 65 Premier League matches under the Italian, netting 12 times in the process.
