Inter want Paris Saint-Germain to include Julian Draxler in a deal that will see Joao Mario go the other way, reports Corriere dello Sport.
Mario became one of the most expensive players in Inter’s history when he joined from Sporting for €40m (£35.8m) last summer, but now he could be on his way out after just 12 months at the club.
Luciano Spalletti is keen to build a new-look Inter and has already signed Fiorentina midfielders Borja Valero and Matias Vecino this summer, which suggests Mario could leave for pastures new.
PSG have expressed an interest in the Portugal international as they line up a long-term replacement for Blaise Matuidi and Inter now want Draxler to be included in the deal.
The 23-year-old has made a impressive start to life at PSG since arriving in January but he also faces an uncertain future with Barcelona winger Neymar on the brink of completing a world record move to Unai Emery’s side.
Of the 33 players that have attempted at least 40 dribbles in Ligue 1 in 2017, only two players have a better success rate than Draxler (73.3%).
