Manchester United the frontrunners for Bundesliga sensation Havertz
Manchester United have emerged as the favourites to sign Bayer Leverkusen wonderkid Kai Havertz this summer, claims The Sun.
Havertz has established himself as one of Europe's most sought after talents after exploding into form since the turn of the year.
The 20-year-old is widely expected to leave his boyhood club at the end of the current campaign and has been heavily linked with a Premier League switch.
Bayern Munich are also understood to be tracking the Germany international but it is United that are favourites to land the wonderkid.
The Red Devils are already working hard to sign Borussia Dortmund ace Jadon Sancho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also wants to prise £50m-rated Havertz in the same window.
Havertz has picked up from where he left off pre-lockdown since the Bundesliga resumed last month and has five goals in Leverkusen's first four league matches.
The German sensation has remarkably only failed to score or assist in one of his last 11 league and European appearances for Bayer Leverkusen and has played a direct hand in 15 goals in that time.
