Chelsea have agreed a £28m deal to sign Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to The Daily Mirror.
Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte had made the Roma midfielder his No.1 transfer target this summer as the Blues look to revamp their squad following the disastrous defence of their Premier League title.
Chelsea reportedly made a breakthrough in lengthy discussions that spanned 48 hours and have now reach a settlement on a price for the deal.
Nainggolan’s performances in the last month have been instrumental behind their late rally to finish second and the 27-year-old has reportedly agreed a five-year deal with the Premier League giants.
The Belgium international has scored more league goals in his last five appearances (3) than he has managed in the rest of his 27 matches this season (2).
