Barcelona have had an opening offer of £3m for Las Palmas defender Mauricio Lemos rejected, according to The Daily Mirror.
Lemos, 20, has impressed for the league minnows this season having only recently made his switch from Rubin Kazan permanent in a £1.6m deal.
The Uruguayan defender’s performances have already caught the attention of Barcelona, as well as some of Europe’s other leading clubs, but they will have to shell out for than £3m for his services.
He has only made 10 appearances in the league this season and picked up a yellow card in half of those matches.
