Manchester United to raid Atletico again should De Gea leave
Manchester United will target Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak as a replacement for David De Gea, reports Manchester Evening News.
De Gea is once again attracting interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid, who are expected to dip into the transfer market to bring in a new goalkeeper at the end of the season.
Keylor Navas has underwhelmed for Los Blancos this term, leading to reports that Real Madrid will move for a new shotstopper in the summer.
Thibaut Courtois is rumoured to be the club’s number one goalkeeping target, while Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hugo Lloris have also been linked with a move to the Bernabeu, but United are preparing for De Gea’s potential exit by lining up Oblak as the Spaniard’s potential replacement.
The Slovenia international has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers on the continent, though Atletico are understandably keen to keep the 24-year-old in Spain.
United, though, are believed to be eager to sign Oblak in the summer if De Gea returns to Madrid.
