Chelsea have slashed their asking price for out of favour goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga but are still holding out for more than £50m, claims The Daily Mail.

Frank Lampard's side will look to offload the Spain international on a permanent basis after this weekend's FA Cup final against Arsenal.

Chelsea made Kepa the most expensive goalkeeper of all-time two years ago after agreeing a shock £71.6m deal with Spanish side Athletic Club.

Kepa has been a huge disappointment since his arrival and has endured a nightmare first season under Lampard.

The Chelsea manager dropped Kepa for their last Premier League game of the season despite needing a result to guarantee Champions League football for next season.

Chelsea accept they will need to take a huge financial hit in order to tempt buyers but are still hoping to recoup £50m for Kepa's signature.

With transfer valuations set to tumble as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, it remains to be seen whether that is enough of a reduction to whip up any serious interest.
