Real Madrid are ready to offer Juventus Isco and Mateo Kovacic in return for Paul Pogba, according to AS.
Zinedine Zidane’s side have identified Pogba as their new Galactico and want to land the France international this summer.
With Barcelona unable to afford Juventus’ €100m (£78.5m) valuation and Manchester City out of the race, Madrid’s only competitor for Pogba’s signature is Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho is keen to bring the central midfield back to Old Trafford but Pogba is reportedly leaning towards a move to Spain to experience a new culture.
There is also the fact Madrid could use Isco and Kovacic to significantly lower Juventus’ asking price. The Serie A champions have a long-standing interest in Isco and Kovacic would arrive with pedigree having left Inter for Madrid last summer.
Pogba, who was named in the World Team of the Year for the first time at the start of the year, finished in the WhoScored.com European Team of the Season last term having ended it as Serie A’s top rated player (7.81).
Only Franco Vazquez (253) has completed more dribbles in the last three Serie A seasons than Pogba (252).
