Antonio Valencia has turned down the chance to leave Manchester United and join Newcastle or Fulham, claims The Sun.
The United captain has dropped completely out of favour in the last few months and is on course to leave when his contract expires in the summer.
Valencia was offered the chance to leave United on deadline day with Newcastle and Fulham both keen on the 33-year-old.
However, the veteran defender has instead opted to see out the remainder of the season at Old Trafford before evaluating his future in the summer.
Valencia has lost his place in the team to fellow veteran Ashley Young, who has been offered a new 12-month deal unlike the Ecuador international.
Valencia has only made five Premier League appearances this season and has only made four appearances in all competitions since the start of October.
