PSG have made a shock bid for Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina according to Sky Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Spaniard has been subject of interest from a number of clubs this summer, not least with reports linking him to a reunion with Rafa Benitez at Newcastle, but the Ligue 1 leaders have emerged as surprise suitors.
A bid in the region of €7m has reportedly been lodged for the 34-year-old, who has reportedly informed Napoli that he won’t sign a new deal, with his current contract expiring next summer.
Aurelio De Laurentiis, the president of the Serie A outfit, is thought to be ready to reject the offer for the keeper, who is still very much first choice under Maurizio Sarri.

Reina has started all but two league matches since the former Empoli boss took charge in 2015, with only Wojciech Szczesny keeping more clean sheets in Italy’s top-flight last season (12)
