Manchester United make contact over PSG winger

Manchester United are believed to have contacted PSG over the availability of Brazilian winger Lucas Moura, reports Sports Witness.

United have been heavily linked with a move for Moura in the past and came close to securing his services in 2012, only for the wideman to instead move to the French giants.

However, the Premier League side have again made their move for the 24-year-old with manager Jose Mourinho keen on adding a speedy wideman to his United squad.

Mourinho had been looking to take Willian from Stamford Bridge to United, yet has become frustrated in his efforts to convince the Blues to sell the Brazil international.

Moura impressed for PSG in Ligue 1 this season, netting 12 goals and registering a further five assists as Unai Emery’s side finished second to Monaco in France’s top tier.

While an offer is yet to be lodged from United for Moura, it’s believed that the Premier League will look to move things along in the coming weeks for a deal to be completed ahead of the new season.
