Valencia confirm intention to sign Juventus striker permanently
Valencia sporting director Jose Ramon Alesanco has confirmed the Spanish side will make Simone Zaza’s loan spell permanent at the end of the season.
Zaza only joined the La Liga strugglers on a six-month loan deal from Juventus in the January transfer window after failing to make any impact at West Ham for the first half of the campaign.
The 25-year-old has already made more of an impact at Valencia than he managed in six months at West Ham and the club’s new sporting director has confirmed he will be a permanent Valencia player.
“Zaza is a Valencia asset, no matter what,” Football Italia quote Alesanco as saying at his presentation press conference. “After this half season, he’ll have four more years at Valencia and we need to get the best out of him. We hope he scores a lot of goals and makes us happy in every game.”
In eight league matches Zaza has already scored more goals for Valencia (2) than he managed for West Ham.
