Neymar has confirmed he held talks with Paris Saint-Germain before signing a new deal with Barcelona.
The Brazil international penned a new five-year deal with Barcelona at the start of July but there had been rumours of interest from Manchester United and PSG during the summer.
Neymar, 24, however, has confirmed he did speak with the Ligue 1 champions but is adamant his desire was always to stay with Barcelona.
“Yes, we had discussions with many people, not just one [with PSG],” ESPN quote Neymar as saying.
“But I decided to stay at Barca because I feel at home here. I’m happy with my teammates and I’m Barca man. I can’t confirm the number given by Wagner Ribeiro because I don’t like talking about figures.
“Like I’ve said I was in talks with many teams, [PSG] wasn’t the only one. But I decided to stay here; I’m happy here.”
Neymar became the first player to register four assists in a Champions League match since Zlatan Ibrahimovic in November 2012 (vs Dinamo Zagreb) in Barcelona’s 7-0 mauling of Celtic in midweek.
