Lille have received a €15m (£12.8m) bid from Southampton for Sofiane Boufal, according to France Football, via Get French Football.
Boufal, 22, has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League since the end of last season and Watford have reportedly already had an approach turned down by the Ligue 1 outfit.
Lille are expected to reject Southampton’s opening offer and are holding out for at least €20m (£17m).
In the last three Ligue 1 campaigns only Lucas Moura (192) has completed more dribbles than Boufal (175).
