Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund, claims Sports Illustrated.
Pulisic’s current deal is due to expire in 2020 and the United States international is on course to leave Dortmund at the end of the season.
The Bundesliga giants have already ruled out a January departure amid interest from Chelsea and will continue to work on trying to secure Pulisic’s long-term future.
However, Dortmund will almost certainly have to cash-in on Pulisic in the summer if no agreement is reached by then and Bayern are the latest side to express an interest.
Bayern have already signed Robert Lewandowski, Mats Hummels and Mario Gotze from Dortmund in the past but Lucien Favre’s side would rather sell Pulisic abroad rather than strengthen a direct rival again.
With Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery coming to the end of their respective careers, Bayern are on the market for new wingers.
Bayern will welcome Alphonso Davies from the Vancouver Whitecaps in January but are also keen to acquire Pulisic from Dortmund.
Despite dropping out of favour this season, Pulisic has still completed the most dribbles in the Bundesliga since August 2017 (90).
