Aleix Vidal will be allowed to leave Barcelona in January after a meeting between his agent and the club, reports Catalunya Radio, via Football Espana.
The former Sevilla right-back has failed to establish himself in the Barcelona first-team since joining in 2015.
Vidal, 27, was reportedly upset after Barcelona’s win over Leganes before the international break after manager Luis Enrique opted to use a back-three in Sergi Roberto’s absence rather than field the 27-year-old.
Roberto will reportedly be unavailable this weekend, and while Vidal is likely to get one last chance to stake a claim, Barcelona are now listening to offers for the defender.
Vidal has only started in seven league matches for Barcelona in his two years at the club.
