Aubameyang rejects Dortmund contract for AC Milan move
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has turned down Borsussi Dortmund’s contract offer and wants to re-join AC Milan this summer, reports Sky Italia, via Football Italia.
Dortmund were willing to sell the Gabon international this summer but have now closed the book after clubs missed the deadline to submit an offer.
Peter Bosz’s side are keen for Aubameyang to sign a new contract this summer to end any lingering doubts about his future at the club, but the 28-year-old has rejected their opening offer.
Aubameyang has been heavily linked with a move to Milan as the Serie A giants are looking to sign another world-class striker to complete a stunning squad overhaul this summer.
The Italian side have already spent more than £150m on new players this summer but have no intentions of reigning in their summer spending spree just yet.
